Giant display screens were a popular feature at the auto show, which was handy since I was already looking for marketing material.
There was a repeating theme: "Your safety is a top priority".
This is interesting.
"Your safety" as opposed to that of everyone else – other drivers, cyclists, pedestrians, asthma sufferers, people who live in coastal areas.
"A top priority" because it's only one of many, although the others are never so clearly enumerated. If it was the top priority, of course, it would be attainable. But in cars as in cameras, everything's a compromise.
