These past few months I haven't known whether to give up photography or buy a new camera.
So I've done both.
These photos were all recorded on my walk home from work. It's a nice walk. It's quiet, and crosses two bridges over the river and the locks of the canal. And I like the job, despite the shock of having to be there five days a week. But there's just nothing here. There's none of the randomness or neglect that creates the environments I enjoy, and there's just nowhere where it feels like it's okay to be a photographer. Everything is privately owned, boring, or clenched tight. Or all three at once.
